Leechburg’s Tyler Foley, a standout on the gridiron this season for the Blue Devils, recently signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his academic and football careers at Waynesburg University in the fall. Over the past two seasons, Foley has earned several accolades on both sides of the ball and this past season, he was voted the Blue Devils’ Defensive Player of the Year after he recorded 28 tackles, four interceptions — two of which he returned for touchdowns — and a forced fumble. Foley was named to the Leader Times’ Fantastic 15 All-Star Football Team as named first-team all-section at cornerback and second team all-section at wide receiver.
