Gerald A. “Beav” Bowser, 56, of Kittanning, died on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2022, in his residence. He was born on Aug. 12, 1965, in Kittanning, Pa., to the late James R. and Eleanor (Rearick) Bowser.
Beav was currently employed with the Progressive Workshop in Kittanning, and had previously delivered the Leader Times Newspaper in the Kittanning and Ford City area. He also worked for Bowser Feed Store in Worthington. Gerald attended Harvest Community Church in Kittanning, and was a 1984 graduate of Kittanning High School. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Left behind to forever cherish his memory is his wife, Tricia (DePaoli) Bowser, whom he married on Sept. 21, 2018; brother, Donald J. (April) Bowser, of Worthington; sister, Karen (Dennis) Shaffer, of Worthington; brother, Delbert Bowser, of New York; sister, Melissa Bowser, of California; and sister, Michelle Bowser, of South Carolina. He will also be greatly missed by his four cats: Pepper, Torrie, Cleo and Grayson.
In addition to his parents, Beav was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Bowser, who died in 2013; his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Velma Bowser; and maternal grandparents, Grant and Virginia Rearick.
Family and friends will be received from 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, in the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning, Pa., until time of funeral services at 7 p.m. with the Rev.
